Xijin Xu is Associate Director at HighLight Capital in Shanghai, China, where she focuses on early-stage healthcare and biotech investment. She brings deep expertise in the evaluation and execution of life-science investment opportunities, combined with a strong scientific foundation in immunology.

She plays an active role in portfolio support and has served as a Board Member for Genfleet Therapeutics, EnnovaBio and Lysoway Therapeutics, where she contributes to strategic guidance and governance. Her investment focus spans a range of therapeutic areas, with an emphasis on companies at the intersection of novel biology and clinical translation.

Prior to her career in venture investing, Xijin completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the United States, where she conducted research in human immunology.
